We need a place to live

This is where we will post and update on our actual Lodge building and progress. 

We are currently without a building of our very own, but that is in the works!

Union-Kilwinning was established in Shepherd's Tavern, in Charles Towne, in 1755 on the corner of Church and Broad Streets. Through our checkered history, we have started in a tavern, been located in a mansion, helped build the Masonic Center on Orange Grove Road, and are currently located in Saint Andrews' Lodge building. 

We are working to construct a Lodge building of our own. A place where we can finally hang our hat without the whims of the owner being able to evict us, or inter-Lodge politics driving us out. 

We have acquired a promise to construct a building on a 1.5 Acre plot of land right off of downtown Charleston. Union-Kilwinning is in the planning stage to perform a fund drive to acquire the necessary monies to construct a Home. Hopefully, one so well-constructed, it can withstand the ravages of centuries of hurricanes, politics and time. 

If you wish to donate to Union-Kilwinning's endeavor, a donate "hat" will be available in this part of our site later, with a link to do just that. 

However, as dark clouds loom for Union-Kilwinning, and we locked in a battle (which you can read about in our Blog Section) with an element claiming to wield the authority of Grand Lodge, survival is our first priority. We would not dream of asking for help to fund a building before our security and continued existence can be assured.
